Imagining the Future

Danger threatens to topple the tenuous peace on Serpentine.  The ancient evil, once driven from the planet, has returned to reclaim its former dominion of the whole planet and its population.  Given their limited strength and numbers, the dark forces must bide their time before they can once again enslave the populace under their own power and control.  Their fiendish plot includes the takeover of certain mighty races across the globe, manipulating the greedy gullible leaders to do the dirty work of reconquering Serpentine for them.

One such race, The Vampeer, is hated among all the other races.  The dreaded bloodsuckers hunt in packs and prowl secretively to attack unsuspecting victims from the shadows, leaving drained bodies in their wake.  Their formidable numbers make this feared race a ripe target for domination.

The central portion of Serpentine’s eastern landmass is controlled by the targeted race of Lion-Hybrids.  Their beloved leader is near death, offering a prime opportunity for the malevolent beings to secure a foothold and subjugate another race to fulfill their evil scheme.

The ever virulent protectors who watch over Serpentine and its population clash with the death-hungry beings with the future of a planet and its people hanging in the balance.
